The musical artform of Jazz is deep-rooted in America. Trent Austin's CD pays tribute to some of the greats in the Trumpet World.

You will hear the styles of Miles, Herb Pomeroy, Nat Adderly, Thad Jones, Woody Shaw, Louis Armstrong, Kenny Wheeler, Clark Terry, Roy Eldredge, and Dizzy Gillespie. Like a great actor, Trent plays all of the "roles" very skillfully.

In addition to Trent's fine Trumpet playing, the rest of the members of the ensemble are all very capable in their own right. This CD is definitely worth checking out!

Hello THers ... maybe many of you already have Trent's CD (Trumpet 101) ... if not, get it as soon as you can. This is a CD that I will enjoy for years to come. Trent's tone is just great .. his tone on track 4 keeps me playing just that track over and over. I won't go on and on ... you must decide for yourself.. you won't be sorry.
